What you should do is try to cripple them. The neck is a good place to go for, if you can reach it, but seriously? Go for the kneecaps; if unbent it only takes 4 pounds of pressure to break them and it’s very difficult to repair a broken kneecap. Another good idea; avoid places where you’re libel to be attacked and/or carry a weapon. There’s a reason why humans and various other creatures evolved the intelligence to use tools, it’s because we lack the ability to protect ourselves against most natural predators when it comes down to tooth and against fang.
